Galaxy just seeing this... but I like it! What matters though is that you are happy with the final result. Post a pic of the Ford red shift handle, I'm assuming it's a ball not the stock unit? I really like the size of the ball, but glove size is a large so that's likely why.
Yesterday I returned to the stock knob. I liked the Ford knob better than the CJPP knob due to size and color, but this shift knob is one item on a long list of stuff that Ford got right. The size/shape works, and the design just compliments the interior better than any aftermarket knob is going to.

Galaxy, we're all different and "fit" is so subjective, good to see you are happy, as that is all that matters in the end :) I really like my new shift knob it just fits (to me) so much better :)

I’m a round knob guy; always have been. Therefore I’m not a big fan of the factory one. I couldn’t get onboard with the stripes though so I ordered the CJPP knob in red with white cobra and lettering. I thought it looked a little cleaner for my style. I’ll post some pics when I’m back in town.

Nice DTorres31, looks great and I really am really liking mine, perfect size and just feels so much better than the stock unit! Would be hard to go back now for sure!! I also think the larger, round shift knob gives it a "bad ass" muscle car look when you look into the interior and your eyes are immediately drawn to the shift knob (like the muscle cars of old)!

Hey madlag, late I know, but welcome to the forum and please post pics when you get yours installed. Do yourself a favor and pick up a strap wrench as the OEM knob is on pretty tight!
Just saw this. Thanks! I have one and will post pics soon:0

Any new rattles or vibrations when you guys are going to these Shelby cue ball knobs?
I like the feel of the stocker a lot but like the looks of the ball knob better so I'm on the fence about this mod????
I had the knob as an oem in my 2011 gt500 however that was too many cars ago, lol and I can't remember... 😂

Hey Hellfire, nice looking Shelby ya got there ;) I have the Shelby "cue ball" shifter and really like it. Can't say that noise/vibration has noticeably increased still get the occasional "buzz" from the shifter, but it did that with the stock knob as well. I ordered the blue w/black print to match the exterior color. Since they don't manufacture these knobs until you order them, it takes a while to arrive - 8 - 12 weeks! Good luck, but I really like mine! be sure and get a strap wrench to remove the stock knob, it's on tight and you won't damage it that way.

Galaxy....Do you want to sell the white & blue CJPP nob?

Thanks man, yours too! Lol....
I don't notice any rattling or vibration at all with my stock handle, so would hate to mess with a good thing. Hmmmmm.......

Oh and I love showing her off, thanks for asking.. 😂

Ford Performance makes knobs. You can get them from Amazon.

I preferred red for my RRRRRRR.

I like it way better than factory thingy.

Amazon? Really? Come on guys. Actually, I’m not above Amazon, but I do believe I’ve reached the tipping point with that organization.

Speaking of performance shift knobs, a few weeks back, just a week after purchasing 2018 GT350R w/700mi, I grabbed a billet, stainless 304 “lightbulb” shape in candy red from “Billetworkz”. The logo and gear graph engraving is essentially through the powdercoat to the steel and then cleared. It’s heavy, and I love it, along with the black powder coated extruded aluminum reverse lock-out collar, but if I’m brutally honest, the level of service when I ran into an installation issue was abysmal….as in “I didn’t exist” level of service. The alcantara shift boot, and the far greater challenge of getting the collar and shift knob just right was one hell of a fight though. Was really hard to believe how blatantly negligent the owner and maker turned out on the backside of the transaction, especially given the quality of the parts.

Sorry, trying to find photos here to post, clearly me = newbie here

Meh. Meh. What do you guys think? I like it from outside when you can see all the white and blue, then it makes sense. Inside the car, it stands out too much. The interior is too refined to have this bright ass white knob there. Everything else goes together...except the knob. I think I’d prefer a plan Red one to match the starter button. But for now...just meh. I’ll give it a chance though. I thought the old school white knob would be instantly cool, but...meh.
