What's your ETA for the GT350?

It seems the actual release date keeps getting pushed back. I just heard from a local dealer they aren't expecting anything until November now. When do you expect your GT350 to hit the dealers lot?

I was told to expect Dec/Jan. I have a deposit on a Magnetic with the Technology package.
I was told by the dealer that arrivals would begin shortly after the first of the year and it could take up to four months after the first arrivals for mine to arrive. One place on the web suggested December. I've ordered the same car as David Devoll...magnetic with the Technology package. Plus black stripes and roof.
Not sure when my R will arrive. 1 of the 3 GT350's for the Clarksville dealership is scheduled to arrive November 1st. The manager is hoping mine will be next after that one. I'm guessing mine will arrive the first big snowfall in Tennessee so I won't get to drive it. 😐

Secured one yesterday, 11.23. Many things were lucky about this transaction. The dealer had a car on order. Ford allowed them to change the color from white to black. I was told to expect the car the third week of January 2016. Exciting.
Nice job...Congrats. These cars are not easy to find, especially for a reasonable price. I paid $2000 over was very lucky. Dealer in NJ told me last week $30 over...

That's awesome, congrats!
Our shop took deliver 2 days ago. We ran some miles on it and did a stock dyno pull yesterday. We will be posting results soon under Leading Edge Tuning

Ordered mine the 1st week of August, build date should be the 2nd week of December, hope to see it in early January.
Ordered Aug 8. Build date 1/11/16. Have a VIN.
I purchased one that was ordered by the dealer back in May 2015. Its white with blue stripes and the tech package. Its in transit & passed through Kentucky this am. I'm hoping to take delivery this week. Traded in my 2014 GT500 Convertible (which had way too much body flex for that engine). Can't wait for the new one.
Ordered mine 08/31. Avalanche grey with blue stripes and track pack non R. Cant wait!
Yes, probably right. I live in Eastern Pa. mine will probably come in February right in the middle of a major snow event with salt and cinders all over the roads.
Dealer is about 2 hours North of me so I will have to ship it or get the thing covered in salt crap.
You are lucky to get an R. Is your dealer getting another R ? Most likely not I am sure ..
Good luck, this car will be a lot more rigid for sure. I had an 08 GT500 convt and coupe. Both cars never felt connected to the road. Scary...These cars should be a huge huge improvement.
Yeah, I know the GT350 will be a far better car on both road & track. The GT500 was fun to drive in a straight line, but on the track it felt like the frame would flex 6 inches under full throttle. Not very confidence inspiring. It has also developed a very annoying squeak behind the dash. I won't be missing the ragtop on the 350.
After almost 200 calls to dealers all over the map, best I could do was a 10 K ADM on a 2016 350 R with a valid DORA and letter from the local Ford rep showing approval of an R allocation. No build date yet.
2 previous deals were bogus. Dealers only had a 350 allocation, not an R, and wasted my time. That's why I insisted on a letter from the Ford Regional Rep.

I only wished we had better (more) color choices. Anyone have a trunk pic of an R to share? Want to see whats deleted from a GT.

Thanks.

According to Mike at Ford Performance in Dearborn, 2016 R's will not be available until spring, 2016. Primary to that decision is the fact that Michelin states that temperatures below 40 F can cause cracking of the Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires that apparently have compounding specific to the 350R.

I participated at the Ford GT350 Track Tour event October 13, 2015 and drove a GT350 at Sebring. It is truly an amazing car, and from a 911 driver no less.

I will track my R at Chin, PDG, PCA and PBOC events.

Looking forward to embarrassing my Porsche buddies!

Jeff,

I live in Miami and can't wait to get my 350. Do you know where I can take it to a track around our area and run it once in a while without being a member to these driving clubs that start at $7k and up?

BTW, Joe from the Ford performance department that sold me the vehicle had the opportunity to also drive it at Sebring and was blown away by this machine!
