I just purchased at the end of February, and my research showed all 2018s were marked up at least $5-10K. And I was willing to travel to snag an 18 for MSRP. Ultimately I bought a new 17 for $1K under MSRP.

There is no differences between the 17 and 18 besides additional colors. You made a smart choice. Brad (Hotlap) knows how much I hate "Arrogant Dealers' Markups."

I am in Soithern California and looking for a New GT350. Does anyone get theses discounted? At Msrp or with ADM?
You should be able to get MSRP easily and if you shop around you might even get a couple grand below. I got my 2017 last Oct. for MSRP. Shop around and if you need a referral, my dealer in Thousand Oaks is a pretty good guy, I'd be happy to connect you.

I run Mobil 1 Extended Performance in everything except the GT350. No Mobil 1 in 5w50, so for now I'm using the Motorcraft 5w-50 in full synthetic.
Thanks ringmaster. After searching around I did find Mobil 1 5w-50 on amazon. Like 64.50 for 6 qts. I also found the Motorcraft @ 133.00 for 12 Unless someone can tell me ones better than the other, I'll just stick with the Motorcraft.

That's interesting. When I search on mobiloil.com by vehicle type for the GT350 this is the response I get:

"Based on what you've told us, your vehicle manufacturer recommends a 5W-50 viscosity and oil that meets Ford WSS-M2C931-B. We currently do not offer any motor oils in the United States that meet these specifications."

Amsoil offers a 5w-50 that meets the Ford specs and some on this forum use it but I've never tried it.

Do people order off the lot or custom order the car? I believe the production ends in 7 days, for the 2018 model year.
These cars are allocated to the Dealerships (few per year) and unless your local dealer is willing to let you sit in on his order (which was probably done a couple months ago) you’ll never get an order. It’s a shop around to find one in stock thats close to you’re preference. Good luck (worth it...).

Yeah, I believe the order window closed in April.

My car was off the lot, the way I wanted it, at a dealer 90 miles away. The one I rejected was trucked in from Shreveport, LA.
