Want to upgrade the speakers and add XM Sirius. One shop said they can upgrade speakers front and rear. However, they want to use 6x9's. Looks like the existing speakers are 6.5" d.
Nervous about dash area mounting the XM.... unit. Any thoughts.

Buy a Ford over the counter unit with XM, leave the current speakers and hide 2 more

The rear speakers are a bastard size, actually 7.5". I had to make adapter plates to mount the 6.5" rear coaxial speakers.
When all is done, I'm not sure the improvement in fidelity and sound was worth the effort and expense.
