Just completed the Track Attack program in Utah. Great fun and great instructors. Very little classroom time, but just enough. Plenty of track time. Don't worry about driving a manual, you will get to third gear and stay there for every turn, every lap, no shifting. Go in humble and follow the progression and you will learn the most.
We had a small class and had our own car for the entire day. Skid car was a hoot.
