Labor day weekend I decided I would take the plunge and order the parts I had been researching and contemplating over for the past few months.
Just this week I received the following parts:
- Kooks long tube headers
- Kooks race catted x-pipe/mid pipes
- Lund Flex Fuel tune and nGauge
Parts I ordered and am waiting on:
- JLT Intake
- JLT Coil Covers
- JLT Passenger side oil separator
The JLT intake is planned to arrive this week. The Lund tune and JLT intake will go on together since the intake requires a tune.
The headers and x-pipe will go on October 3rd at a local shop.
Once I install the tune and intake I will run the rest of the 91 out of the tank and fill up with E85.
As soon as the headers are installed Im having the shop run a dyno to see where we ended up. Im not running a baseline first since I do not really care that much to see the "exact" gains. Im also unable to have the parts installed within the same day for consistent dyno runs. I know the car should be around the same stock numbers most everyone else has got off their baseline dynos.
I am super excited to see/feel the results! Cant wait to hear it in person and see what E85/header combo will do to the bottom end torque.
once its completed I will get some videos up
here are some photos of parts that arrived and the ones I have on there way
