Now that we are getting within weeks of the official release, who has put down a deposit the GT350?

I'm also waiting for my 2015..... as of today, none of the 137 uniits have been released for shipment yet. No dates or other details is available... we just have to practice patience a little longer.

How can I place an order for a 2016 version? I went to a dealership in my neighborhood and they didn't even seem to know about the car and told me they had none available after checking their computers and showed me the print out..They only had one "R" in red.. They Told me come back in 6 month and that the 2015 is sold out...

I would call around and see if you can get ahold of a dealer that's more on the ball.

I have a dealer from whom I have bought several new Fords in the past. I placed an order with deposit in mid-August. It was supposed to be built 9/28, but has been moved back. It will be a 2016 GT350 with Tech package. Going to be patient and wait.

I have, order date 11/05 but this was a modification to an existing order placed in Summer for an R which didn't happen so guy cancelled and I happily stepped in as I don't want an R.
So order has been in Que for awhile..still no production info/VIN, etc...

Great salesman at Ford performance department. Last I talked to him he had 1 allocation left, but noticed that they're not getting too much more than $5k over on the eBay ones.

Great salesman at Ford performance department. Last I talked to him he had 1 allocation left, but noticed that they're not getting too much more than $5k over on the eBay ones.

Bummer that they are about to shut down production for the holidays. This will only help drive up the price on the ones that are available now.

I ordered mine on 11/04. Standard with Track Package and car cover in race red with white stripes. Got my DORA a few days later and that's all I know. I'm expecting February. Oh, and I paid 5k over sticker putting the 5k down as a deposit.

I have been working with my local dealer since March and scored a GT350 at sticker.

Placed my deposit down on 11/07/15 and ask my dealer to hold off as long as he could to avoid delivery in the snow and ice.
I know that snow is just frozen water but this is what I am trying to avoid with my car.

3 GT350s going out for delivery.
I see that the rumor was correct Ford was having trouble getting the 350s on the double deckers.

I'm going to post some facts.
1) the shelbys do not come with a shipping car cover.
2) literally 100s of them are sitting here waiting to be shipped.
3) some are waiting for OTT stripes
4) many are base shelbys
5) about 6-8 GT350R's are sitting also
6) they sound AWESOME!!!! I Heard him start them to load onto the truck. Damn!
7) id say if you have any issues with damage its either dealer or shipper.
