Hey everyone, well I did the unforgiveable , and scratched up the trunk stripe while using fishing line to remove the 3m tape holding spoiler to trunk lid. I am sick , but it gets worse. The factory replacement for just the stripe over the trunk lid is 460.00 , yea not a misprint. Any of you out there have any ideas on this?

Find a custom vinyl graphics shop in your area and have them quote to replace it. They should be able to match the factory stripe exactly and it should cost you about 25% of a factory replacement.
It is worth looking into.

Any luck on the stripe issue? I too just found a scratch on the stipe beneath the trunk lid & above the rear bumper. The worst thing is that I have no idea how it happened and the car has less than 100 mile. Thanks for any suggestions.
