It’s been raining very hard and lots of deep puddles around DC region. So I thought I would try rain mode. I was out on RT50 coming back from Annapolis at doing about 75. Wet mode seemed to soften things up and it did better in steering too. So I would recommend using it in heavy rain. The magna ride felt like when I hit a deep rut with rain the compression adapted and softened the hit, so less chance of hydroplaning

The NTSB does not mandate wet mode. My car is not a garage queen and it does indeed get driven in heavy rain. I’ve also ridden and raced bikes in heavy rain, not track day but real CCS and WERA races. Riding in rain is fun! Try hydroplaning on a liter bike at 100, then doing big slides... now that’s fun.
