Shelby GT350R with AC?

Is there any way to get a GT350R with Air Conditioning? I know you can buy back seats for them, but I would rather have an AC option. Living in Texas it would sure be nice to have the option to stay cool while going to cars shows, race track, etc.

Yes, you order it with the electronics package, which adds the radio, dual climate A/C, B/U camera, garage door openers, turn signal mirrors, etc..., I think it's $3000.

Hey, I just realized, this was my first post, reply, statement, whatever one may call it.

Now that would be awesome! I thought I tried to build an R online, but it wouldn't let me add the electronics package? Hmmm I guess I will have to try it again.

Hey BossDoc, How'd that work for you- placing order online? Does the Ford website then refer you to a dealer? If so, the Rs are definitely selling at a premium. Did you have to pay a markup? I know my dealer didn't have an alottment for an R, did the fact some dealers have an R alottment and some don't factor in? Thanks for any info you're willing to share.
For more information use Ford.com or read a review

To answer your question in full: it doesn't work at all, period. I built an R on line a dozen times, each time I used a different zip code etc. to see if you would even get a response - zip, zilch, nothing.

I asked a person from Ford I have an acquaintance with, and he sent me a very courteous reply that basically amounted to: best of luck, the build out on the Ford site is window dressing.

Hey Gumbs,
Thanks for the info - I asked those questions just to understand the process better. Thanks for adding to the knowledge base..
