Speaking of maintenance, has anyone looked for 5W50 synthetic oil made by any of the bigs ie Mobil1, Castrol, Amsoil, etc.?
I have asked around without success. Motorcraft may be only choice for a while. If anyone knows different, please post info.

Hey BOSSDOC,
There are some options out there.

Do a google search for "5w50 synthetic oil". I tried to put up a
link but it didn't work out....

Will this be in the glove box? Anyone have one in theirs?

M.
Yes, the Shelby GT350 Owner's Manual Supplement comes in the glove box along with the standard Mustang owner's manual, Mustang Quick Reference Guide, Sync 3 Supplement (if equipped), Ford Warranty Guide, Tire Warranty Guide, and so other pamphlet type stuff for a Mustang app, Sirius Radio, Roadside Assistance....

Hey Boss Doc, I've been reading around about oil for the Voodoo and the consensus seems to be only Motorcraft and possibly Amsoil might meet Fords requirements WSS-M2C931-B.
Beware of warranty implications....

I think if you drill (no pun intended) down on the oils supplied by manufactures (Ford,Toyota etc.) that they don't refine it themselves. I know that Mobil produces much of this product especially for the wierd wieght oils (Ie:5-50, 0-20 etc.). Most of these will contain a special feature which makes it exclusive to that manufacture in some way. It's good oil. And good synthetics cost $$$.
