I see appeal but not sure how I feel about. I kind of like flipping the switch lol. 75% of the time I leave them closed...
Wow that’s the first time I’ve heard someone keeping them closed most of the time!!! I actually want both. Hard decision
Just un plug the wire going to the exhaust valve under your back exhaust. And they actually make a specific plastic cap to protect the plug once it is un plugged.
These work both ways, Some of the people running at tracks that have sound limits use these to keep the valves closed so they don't need to play games on the track to defeat the sound level monitors.

It feels cooler when I toggle them on lol. Active exhaust would be active without the ability to toggle.
I was thinking baling wire would do the same thing. :)
Yup bailing wire. My grandpa could fix darn near any thing on the farm with bailing wire and a pair of pliers.
$30 for a piece of Plastic? You’re joking, $60 for both pipes, lol. I say bailing wire and a small piece of duc tape to cover the electrical connection. But actually, I like my mode switch, I like the open exhaust and engine performance bump it gives me (at will) or off when I pass the Cops...

This brings up a good point. I closed mine today while “calmly and legally” driving the backroads... I made a few laps through a certain area and noticed people had actually come out to see based off the sound. I stopped later and ask a local I know and he said he could hear me a couple miles away approaching. So...lol quiet mode engaged.

Same here JT, but I would like to find a way to defeat the 6th gear closing of the pipes...be nice if the toggle would override the auto close feature. Now if someone would program that, I'd be interested for sure! Still wondering if this could be accomplished via a FORScan change. Getting a scanner for the new Raptor soon and will likely check out the GT350 as well.
