I just received a package from Ford Performance today that I thought was kind of cool. It is a package that contains several items pertaining to the purchase of my GT350. It has a certificate stating my vehicles VIN# and Production# along with several other items about the GT350. It also has a miniature flat plane crank shaft with it's own display stand and a DVD. There is a form that you can order a nice plaque stating your name and your vehicles VIN# along with a picture. And it all fits nicely in a paper box type case for safe keeping. It's not a lot but I think it was nice that Ford took the time and effort to put it together and send to the owners of these new GT350's. I took a couple of pic's of the package and was wondering if anyone else has received theirs. Car Wheel Automotive parking light Vehicle Tire

I have now seen a few of those. Has anyone noticed the difference in chassis build sequence and VIN #s, and with this example, does that mean that up to 83 Rs are in the group up to G5220605? Since only 49 Rs have been built to date for 2016, that would also mean that VINs are not in sequence as well. Or am I all wet? Anyone have one of the 49 Rs that can post a pic of their goody bag?

Actually I had no idea it was being sent and was really surprised when I opened the box. I never heard of anyone else receiving one and that's why I posted it here. It is a really cool thing Ford Performance did for the buyers of these cars because I think they are truly remarkable vehicles. But to answer your other question I put my deposit down in June for one of the two allocations my dealership was allowed. The dealership called me in August to come in and place my order for the GT350 I wanted. I took delivery on November 11th and have had the coolest Mustang in Baton Rouge ever since. I received my package on Monday February 1st so you should be seeing yours in just a few weeks. Those with the coolest toys always have the most fun !!!!

Another example: g5520170 = G0212 Dash Tag

It's entirely possible that it could be directly related to the # of "Projected" Rs in the mix, or it could follow how it was in the 60's with the SFM5s or 67 200 (400 for big blocks) # scheme from Shelby American where there is no rhyme or reason, except by batch.

Maybe when the people that reply here with the fact that they received their package, they could also put the day they took delivery of their car, the OP has stated he got his car the first week of December, and I looked up cdmudd 's profile to find he also took delivery of his car in early December.

It might help others get an idea of when their package may be showing up, I took Delivery on 1-6 so hopefully in 2-4 weeks I will get a surprise package also.
