Hi all- new to the forum. Going to my dealer tonight to order a 2020 GT350. Have been agonizing over ordering the tech package. My question here is focused on the in-dash parts oF the package. I don’t care for puddle lamps, mirror enhancements, seat memory, speaker enhancements or a subwoofer.

I want to know if the base audio system has Apple car play that will let me put Waze on the screen from my iPhone for navigation and will play music from my phone, or to get that do I have to order the tech package? That’s basically how I use my smart phone in my car. Also, does the base audio system come with a CD player?

Just reluctant to spend $2k for the package if. I don’t have to. If someone can give me guidance on why I may want the tech package (I’m not really savvy about smart phone capabilities or the capabilities of the tech package) I’d greatly appreciate it.

Yes get the package. Was only a problem up to 2017 which added coolers in Tech Package (omitted them before).

One can still order a GT350 until October 2nd. That is the official new order cutoff time. Existing orders from that date have until October 15th to make changes. After which no one will be able to order a new S550 GT350 ever again. So if anyone is on the fence. Make it happen by this Friday, or be left out forever when it comes to a new custom ordered GT350.

I ordered mine yesterday. So mine will be one of the last GT350R's built.

Just bought a 2020 GT350 with your options and leather seats. Love it. I want the fold down seats, but love the carbon wheels. Happy with one that's mine.

Did you have a dealer with allocation to order one? I had to hunt around to find a dealer with a allocation ticket and then find out at what price they would sell me the car for. The best deal I found was a local dealer that agreed to receiving a $5,000 profit from selling me the car. In order to get that number I had to pay about $1,700 over Manufactures List Price. I got my 2020 GT350 Heritage Edition in mid-July, Chassis L0081.

With the discontinuance of the GT350 I’m seeing dealers with inventory raising their dealer markup price. Setup an AutoTrader search for new 2020 GT350s to get an idea what the market is doing now.

Why order a new one and likely pay over sticker? There are a bunch of super low mileage, loaded, 2019's for sale that still have lots of warranty. I've been towing with selling my loaded 19 350R for MSRP that has clear bra, ceramic coating, and a skid plate protector. Only has 500 miles. Clearly I don't drive it as it's not the car for me... There are other really nice used 19's out there as well. Seems like it's basically the same car. You'd save some money on the purchase price, sales tax, and shipping (the car probably won't be local). Check out the car sites like Dupont Registry etc before you pull the trigger.

The GT350 in features an optional handling package that adds a gurney flap to the spoiler/wing, creating even more downforce. To account for the added downforce, Ford softened the rear springs, stiffened the fronts, and added a bigger stabilizer bar. This helps the GT350 put more power to the road.
