LOL, I'm not a fan of excess badging either...would have had the same dilemma: "do I remove it in the parking lot or wait until I get it home"
I've noticed over the years that Midwest and East Coast dealers tend to want to put their names on vehicles. Back in the day, they used to screw/rivet their name plates onto the rear of the trunk lid and after several Winter seasons you could see the rust starting...always wondered why anyone would accept that in a new car...here in the West they tend to rely on the license plate frames.
