Hello all,
Gt350 delivered last Friday. Picked up plates today.
Problem:
There are no holes for the plate screws.
Small holes with no cutout.
Not like this on expedition/Taurus.
Are there inserts ?
What am I missing ?
Told you it was a foolish question.

Are you sure the stripe isn't just over the holes. If I remember right the service guy had to drill a small start where the holes are and then the screws went right in

They should have included the screws in a package in the trunk (along with a loose front bracket). Use the 2 holes that are showing in this image outside the stripe area. Do NOT use the impressed area that is within the stripes. You will also want to put a small self adhesive "bumper" dead center on the back of the plate. That way the plate won't damage your stripes (if you have stripes) or your paint. The small bumper you apply should be hitting on paint between the stripes. Home Depot has clear vinyl self adhesive small bumpers that are appropriate. Good luck.

On mine those rubber grommets stick out enough that the top center of tag wont rub and I bent the bottom out a little so it wouldn't rub. Even if it should happen to rub a tad theirs most likely always going to be a license plate on the back by some one so it would never show.

Thanks to all for your responses.
Now have plate mounted with a plastic plate bracket between it and the stripes. Also used felt bumpers on back of bracket. Should be no strip scarring.
Again, thanks all.
