Haven't had a chance to lift the kimono yet and supplied literature doesn't provide the information. Where is the oil filter located on the GT350 and how difficult to access?

Hey Rainier,
It's behind an access door drivers side, access is challenging esp. the first time removal, others have reported it's torqued on well above the recommended. Also consider you'll be draining 10+ quarts so large pan is needed. Others have recommended wrapping filter in a bag to control dripping onto air dams mounted under the body.
Does anyone have a picture of the acces door to the oil filter?

Probably the best look you'll get, for now, is from the https://youtu.be/Scri24z53Pw?t=6m49s"]2016 Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang Track Test Drive & Performance Vehicle Overview. This video shows the Ford Engineers showing off the car at Laguna Seca including shots of the underside of the car (at around the 6:49 mark).

I'm going to try to get my local Ford Dealer to allow me back in the bay when my car gets its first oil change, so that I can get some photographs of the underside of my car. If that works, I'll be happy to post the results.

Hard to tell exactly from video, now I wish I had payed more attention to the underside when they had this exhibit at Carlisle this past year. Any sense of where the floor jack points are?
