I'm not new to the Mustang world, just to the Shelby world. I come to you from New Harmony, UT which is just north of St. George UT. I started in CA and escaped in 2006 after 42 years there when I retired. I got bored and work as a locate tech (Blue Stakes).
I've had eight Mustangs and just ordered number nine. I've dreamed of owning a special car since I got rid of and regretted same a 1971 Boss 351.
So what brings me here? I want to learn everything I possibly can about the 2018 Kona Blue GT350 we ordered over the last weekend. I want to learn about the car, the tech all of it including cruises, meets, road trips and the like. I am somewhat active on stangfix and there is a good group there who over the last 15 or more years and two forums have become friends.
My current stable is a 67 Camaro, 67 Mustang coupe, 96 F150 and a 2012 Dodge Durango 5.7. Not one in the bunch is a gas mileage getter. All V8 cars.
So there you have it in a nutshell.
Thanks for letting me post and for sharing in my excitement.
Welcome guru great forum with lots of helpful information! Lucky for you the "Track Attack" driving experience is near SLC Utah So tell us the specs of your 2018 Shelby, did you opt for the convenience package or go with the Recaros? I was intending to order a 2018 as well, but checked with several dealers and they were still talking min of $10K ADM...just cant bring myself to do that so paid MSRP for a 2017 Lightning Blue with Electronics pkg. So Kona Blue must be back for 2018 then, as (IIRC), Ford replaced it with Lightning Blue for 2017...
