New guy. Joined because I'll be in the market for a GT350, new or used. Been driving Challengers. Opted for them for a combination of styling and interior room. Good rides, although not quite as refined as the GT350. While interior room is still an issue, I just love what the GT350 has to offer. Need to get up to speed on pricing. Odd to me some dealers are asking north of $110K for new while low mileage used 2016 models selling for $50K. Quite a spread.

Lots of questions forthcoming.

Welcome and thank you for your service!! Now's the time to get a 2017 at MSRP (or even a slight discount). I live in SoCal and last time I checked there were 45 2017's sitting on dealer lots within 100 miles of my city. I was able to purchase a 2017 Lightning Blue GT350 with Electronics package right at the MSRP of $60K. If you are looking for an R model, they are extremely rare and all bets are off as to not paying ADM. Go to the 2017 Ford configurator, build your GT350 then select "Search Inventory" select the distance you are willing to travel and you should see a pretty accurate inventory of GT350's in your area. Keep in mind the Ford inventory site is a bit behind so a few could have sold since last update.

Good luck!!

PS if you are looking for the non-Recaros Convenience Package vs the Recaros Electronics package, they are few and far between. Ford initially underestimated the demand level for the Convenience Package equipped GT350 so they were backordered and many dealers just ordered the Recaros....In mid September, out of the 45 within 100 miles only 2 or 3 were equipped with the convenience package...

Welcome to the Forum. The GT350 is a great machine for sure.
I agree with HotLap. Do your homework. I told the Dealership where every GT350 was within 150 mile radius, and I was willing to go that distance. Mine had a higher sticker price than the Black one with recaro seats, H0477. We negotiated all the way down to about MSRP. They really paid attention when they asked me "if you are serious, how much are you wiling to put down?" His Sales Manager, although not happy, gave in. I also told him that the car was sitting in their showroom for over a year, and I was trying to help them make room for the Roush Stage 3 that were coming soon, haha! The pre-delivery inspection date was like 4/16. I got it 05/17. I said that because they claimed the Ruby Red was in high demand, and dealerships were always calling him to let them have it. Either way, Good Luck!

LOL, DT, me too, you can tell the approximate time a car has been on the lot by starting with date on the bottom of the window sticker and working forwards. For instance my window sticker date is 8/29/17, (pretty sure this is when the final order was approved and sent over to production). The car was built on 9/11/17, then arrived approx. 4 weeks later on 10/07/17. This was a similar time frame as my last ordered vehicle. Of course distance from plant, etc. will vary, but for the West Coast <generally> you can add between 30 to 60 days to the window sticker date to see how long the car has been sitting...I was trying to buy a Grabber Blue 2017 w/stripe delete and black roof and dealer was claiming they couldn't go lower than $5K over MSRP due to the high demand for this particular color combo. When I asked him if it was in such high demand, why had it been sitting on his lot for 90 - 120 days he was not a happy camper...(by the way as of last week it's still there)!
