Hi, im a new member. i bought a 2017 avalanche grey gt350. I drove it about 400 miles now. As of this morning, i was driving in the highway shifting from 5th to 6th gear and i have no acceleration and sluggish pressing on the gas pedal rpm doesn't want to move up its staying at 2000. Did anyone experienced this yet on your gt350. Im still on my break in period and didn't go past 4 to 5k rpm yet but this is the only time i experience this from happening. Please reply with any advice on what to do.

Thanks,
Vince Jordan

“Break in period”?? I don’t think mine came with that. Mine would turn 7-8k rpm right away.

So it only does this in 6th gear? Are you’re you’re not going too slow in 6th and just bogging the engine down? Not likely, I’m sure; just trying to help you think out loud. Disconnecting a battery for 20 min can work miracles sometimes as well with modern electronics. Meh...if all else fails, it’s under warranty for a reason!

Did some research, 6th gear doesn’t really pulls and it’s an overdrive and cruising gear. The exhaust valves closes in 6th gear that’s why I thought something is wrong when it went quiet. Thanks for the reply’s.

Yo johnny1 why are you so salty? Are you here to judge people? I’m not here to troll or argue with people. I’m an adult, don’t have time for that. I’m just asking if someone experience that with their car. If not, so be it.

Sorry shouldn't have happened. I should have researched better that there was an avalanche grey in 2017. I got hung up on the 2018 lead foot grey and therefore assumed you were trolling that that was the first year a grey came out. I apologize.
