My new R calipers

Ordered a set of R calipers for my car and our parts dept got them in today.

Wow are they massive. Sure we know they are large on the car but in your hand .... they are mammoth.

That and the R steering wheel was ordered and will go on sometime in the next week or so

What are the differences between the base GT350 calipers and the Gt350R's calipers?

The only difference is color u say,,,which then begs the question why you did not just paint your orginal calipers red?

Good question ..... One ... the car would be down for a few days with no calipers .... two i work for a ford store so i get things close to cost so it was more cost effective and time efficent to order the real deal vs powder coating

I wanted to order a new set of calipers in blue to accent my OTT stripes, but they only come in red. I was told that I could powder coat them, but I haven't done this for the same reasons you mentioned.

Don,
I?m thinking about getting the R calipers. When you ordered them did they come just the bare caliper or with all the internals like the pistons etc. I hope I made sense.
