Mishimoto Coolant Tank Disappointment

At the top of my Mod list was the replacement of the Torpedo Coolant tank. It by far is the worst looking thing under the hood and needs to be gone. I was excited about the Mishimoto tank.

The tank has a slightly increased capacity and is baffled which sounds like a good idea (and looks good). Bad news is the reviews on the product as of late. Customers (many) are complaining the stock coolant cap needs Channel lock pliers just to install, almost like its cross- threaded? Early reviews (1-2 years ago) gave the unit an A+, now...

Any thoughts?

I like the look of the Black one. But haven't heard anything
Jim, I hope that's not the case, I like the look of that unit...have you pulled the trigger on it yet?
I installed the same tank in February or March of this year and have zero issues with it. Looks great and the reason I choose this tank over other in the little sight glass on it so I know where the level is without taking the cap off like several other aftermarket tanks. Maybe the reviewers messed up putting their cap on and it is not the tank at all.

That's good to hear and thanks for chiming in...I'll likely order this same unit soon!
