Hey, has anyone put in a lower t stat? In my other performance car I dropped a 180 in, it took nearly 40 degrees out of coolant and 20 out of the oil temp.

Can the same be had for my GT350R? I'm going to start tracking it this year and it runs very hot for my liking.

Any suggestions on a t stat as well?

Do your research. I looked into a cooler T stat for my other Mustang a long time ago. It can / does actually reduce power in the cooler days as the engine never gets out of 'Warm-up" mode. Also, your cats might get fouled quicker and other downsides such as accelerated engine wear because it's not hot enough and the tolerances are too tight..
