Has anyone received a ticket for a loud exhaust? Another car forum made me think about this and was wondering if anyone has had any issues... At 110 db, figured it could lead to issues with LEO.

Not yet. But I did have a motorcycle sheriff checking out my car in the parking lot about a month ago. I went outside and said "I know it looks fast, but please don't give me a ticket". He got a good laugh out of it. I would think that as long as you're not being a jackass high revving all over town, you would probably be OK. I always drive in loud mode, and haven't had any issues yet.

Beauty of the beast. Best sounding factory exhaust around in sport mode. If your concerned about getting a ticket leave it in normal mode. But that ain't no fun.

Every deputy that has seen it wants to check it out. I was at a meeting with the sheriff and other county fire chiefs and the sheriff wanted to go outside and see it.

Or as someone else on the forum called it, the "I hate my neighbors mode". Perfect description. ;-)
Which is why I leave it in normal mode between 8PM and 8AM when I'm in residential areas. I might stretch that a *little* on Friday and Saturday nights, but people do have babies and little kids to put to bed, so ...

Fortunately I live in a fairly rural area and find I'm the least offensive person noisewise even though I switch to sport mode immediately, so I guess other people hate their neighbors too. ;-)

You guys act like you're driving a dang NASCAR or something. If you're not whaling on it, even Sport mode is not that bad. My car spends zero time in normal mode and I've never had a cop problem. Like anything else in life, be smart about it.

Just left the house after lunch. Had it in sport mode. The lady across the street had just gotten out of her car. As I drove past her, I revved it and she clutched her chest. It was pretty funny. She just looked at me and laughed.

Well personally I wouldn't act like that. I drive mine in sport mode most all the time but I don't intentionally try to agitate any one. I will rev it at times going through an under pass enjoying the sound. But I'm not going to purposely intimidate the neighbors. That can come back to bite you in the a**.

Are you a Jayhawk? Thought so..............

I know her. She laughed. There was no agitation involved. Besides, "agitation" is a pretty big word for a Jayhawk.

Well you should have said that. Thats not the way it comes across as you wrote it, that would be different. Not even going to get into the Jayhawk crap with you or any one else.
