TLDR: 2015/2016 Tech pack GT350's do not include the transmission cooler and diff cooler. Transmission cooler pump is integrated into the transmission instead of a separate external pump.
So in 2015/2016 Tech pack models Ford, with their infinite wisdom, were trying to make more distinctions between Tech pack and Track pack and they did not include the transmission cooler or differential cooler in the Tech pack. From MY2017 both packs got the coolers because it turns out that they need them to be tracked effectively and got sued for it
Sass aside, the tech pack is fine on the street or doing autocross, but I am going to be doing
hopefully quite a few track days next year as well as autocross so I want the transmission with the pump, and I am going to put the diff cooler on. FMPP had the transmission for 2k for awhile but i didnt jump on it while I had the chance and they discontinued that with no intentions of selling them for that price again. They also cancelled their rear diff cooler upgrade kit too.
My options are, buy a 5k transmission and about another couple hundred in parts for the actual tranny cooler or build my own transmission cooler (which I will probably do) using the transmission fluid fill and drain ports and an electric pump. Then ofcourse adding the diff cooler. Diff cooler isn't as necessary, but would be nice to have as piece of mind.
