I went with the low profile BMR Jack Rails. They’re 1” by 2”. They’re even with the lowest part of the pinch weld. I was trying to maintain maximum ground clearance. The regular set is 1-1/2” by 2”, hanging about a half an inch below the pinch weld. With those you won’t have to worry about your jack shoe placement as it relates to the pinch weld. Also, I’m hoping the lip of the jack stands I have ordered won’t contact the pinch weld. Otherwise, I should have gone with the larger set. I do like their ability to raise the car along any point of the side of the car. Pictures attached.

But still use a rubber insert on my floor jack. Steeda and BMR both recommend the use of rubber pads to protect their surface treatment (I believe both are power coated). I like the red version.
