Great plate and great frame! Love it. Ordered my vanity plate a month ago, still waiting. Had to give them three options so it will be a surprise.

Tell me if you've ever heard of this before...
Got the notice 3wks ago that my special order plates are in at the DVD. My appointment to pick them up was today, went in and saw them across the counter, they looked perfect. The clerk looked confused when she was doing the paperwork, said "I'll be back in a minute." Ok. Comes back and asked me some questions about the plates from my car that I was tuning in, I said the dealership registered those plates to the car when I bought it from them, and she said they f*cked that process up. Sit down while we call Sacramento. Ok. 20 min. later she calls me up to the window and says the plates are mine but I can't have them yet, not until Sacramento calls me on the phone (in the next week or so) so I can tell them my story of buying the car (brand new) from the Ford dealership, then they will straighten out the paperwork to my car and give the "ok" to the DMV to issue me the new plates. WTF?...

Never heard of this before - but it’s not uncommon for the Cali DMV to mess things up.

I don't think this is peculiar to CA, here in NM the DMV does a mighty fine job of screwing everything up. I think it's the nature of the beast. Hope you get this straigtened out without too much pain racer172.
