Not available to everyone, but you will NOT beat USAA (price, coverage, customer service, nor loyalty) if you can get it. My second choice would have been Flo!

USAA is only available to veterans. Probably unfair to even mention it.

Found this - Active, retired and honorably separated officers and enlisted personnel of the U.S. military. Officer candidates in commissioning programs (Academy, ROTC, OCS/OTS). Adult children (18+) of USAA members who have or had a USAA auto or property insurance policy.

My wife, children and even my ex wife are members.

You might try again, the membership eligibility for non-officers is a fairly recent change.

Lockton Affinity/NRA for guns.
