I am the son of a former Ford Dealer. She purchased her Dealership when I was five years old, and I literally grew up in the business. I purchased my first SVT product in 1998, a chrome yellow coupe with black leather interior. She sold the business in 2000, and in 2001 I decided to move to Maui to work in the parts department at the local Ford dealership. I kept my 98 in storage for the fifteen years I lived there, and to this day it only has 2,400 miles.
While living in Maui, the Ford Dealer purchased the GM Dealership, which gave me the opportunity to purchase a 2003 50th anniversary edition Corvette coupe. It currently has 15,000 miles. The Dealer then purchased the Dodge franchise shortly before I moved back to Ohio in 2016, but I really never was interested in that brand, until....
I currently work as the Parts Manager for a Ford and Dodge Dealer in Ohio. Last month I decided to special order a 2018 Challenger Widebody Hellcat. While waiting for it to be built, we received my current 2018 GT350 chassis 2601. Our GM parked it in the showroom where I could stare at it all day every day. I finally decided to write the check and take delivery this Friday, June 8th. A few minutes after taking delivery, my GM informed me that my Hellcat is currently in paint and I should be receiving it in the next few weeks. I can’t wait to get both of them out on the road and enjoy these beautiful beasts.
