I apologize if this question has been asked, but I would like to know if I can switch out the OEM brake calipers on my 2016 GT 350, with the red competitive or racing ones that come with the GT 350r?
If you look close at the R (red) calipers on LMR you will note the masking marks and overspray from when Brembo painted them. Don’t kid yourself into thinking they’re Powder coated, they’re not. You can save a lot of money and just get some high temp caliper paint and new stickers (on eBay) and do them yourself. Maybe $40-50...
Thank you. For some reason I thought the 350r ones were powder coated... I’m not mechanicaly inclined at all, but I may try to paint mine myself. Had them painted when I first bought the car, but the paint started chipping within a year...
Just did mine with the G2 paint system and high temp Brembo decal.... they look very good
