I am looking to get a set of "street" rims & tires. Does anyone know if the Carbon Fibre units are available as a over the counter item?
Will other rims work, like the alloys on the street car?

Any advice appreciated.

Then Ford must be getting a great bulk discount! if you add the 15 large to a base 350, it would be more than what an R stickers at, without the other R parts involved!

Yes, but look at the cost of what they leave out of the R version. No radio or electronics, no air conditioning, no rear seat, no sound insulation.
Take the cost of that from the list price and it all balances out.

Also, remember the $15800 is retail not wholesale or even manufacturer negotiated.
The price Ford pays could be 50% less.

I ordered a set of R spec wheels for a reasonable price that are just a few pounds heavier than the CF wheels. I'm fitting them with the "cup" tires, getting ready to track it! Almost a R for just a few $ and little wait!

The Carbon Revolution 19×11-inch front wheels are Ford part number: FR3Z-1007-R, and retail for $4,174.93 each. The 19×11.5-inch rears are Ford part number: FR3Z-1007-S, and retail for $3,536.33 each.

I found them on the web at levittownfordoemparts.com for 2699.52 each for the fronts, and $2286.60 each for the rears.

Grand total $9972.24 before taxes, shipping etc... I'm sure these are on backorder by the time you read this...
