I'm a new Ford owner for the first time in my life after 18 different Japanese vehicles. Dad was a Ford man…many Pintos, Granadas, Fairlanes…you know what I'm saying. Needless to say, my folks are shocked.

Well, I purchased G2151: Race Red/Tech Pack/OTT stripes on the 4 Feb from Pruitt Ford sight-unseen after a lot of reading and watching. It was their only 2016 allocation. I got it for a fair price since I've known the GM for several years. I was originally looking for a Ferrari 360 Modena, but the frau gave me nothing but shake-offs until I pitched the Mustang idea…and...I got the knod, so I visited the dealership that day! The GT350 arrived with 4 miles on the ODO two days later. Since then I've clay barred, applied several coats of Zaino Z-2/5 car show polish, installed Ford Performance oil catch cans and FP hood struts. I called the FP hotline to find out when they'll offer a tranny cooler kit for tech packs and the answer was "we're working on that right now, it'll be very soon". It's interesting to see what dealerships and private individuals are listing/asking for this machine. My nephew-in-law, who works as a Lexus dealership finance officer told me yesterday that he is looking for an R and has lined one up thru an work acquaintence for sticker. I'll admit I'm not quite used to the 350's long/high nose since I'm used to low/short Japanese bonnets, but I can "over look" it. Looking forward to many years of living/talking Shelby.

Great way to get a GT350 - you've been busy with the add ons! Seems like there's a few forum members in TX so you'll find yourself among other 350 owners for sure. Welcome to the Ford family- it can be a love/hate relationship at times though I bought my first Mustang when I was fourteen and close to 40 years later, got my 350. It's a lovefest now!
Interesting you checked with FP about the coolers, as a fellow Tech Package owner, I've been wanting them since before I ordered my car. Today, FP told me it would be closer to the end of the year though I am hoping it'll be sooner. Congrats on the GT350 and welcome to the forum!!
