Driving my ‘20 model R today, it occurred to me the engine sounds and feels smoother than the engine in my previous 2016. Has anyone else noticed of heard of the later model engines being smoother?

I thought I'd read something quite a while ago stating the 2019's had a new gasket between the engine and trans. I found it. Look at Mustang6G.com, GT350 forum thread "List of Changes to the 2019 GT350" and notice Frank.Herbst's 2/24/20 list of changes and particularly item #24. If that's correct, maybe I'm not dreaming.

Yep -- looks like this: "Added rubber coating to the engine to trans plate. (stops vibration noise)"

I own a 2017 and have not driven a 2019 on. Hopefully, I get a student in the near future and get to check it out.
