Since I live about only two hours away, easy trip for me. I was there once a few years ago and had pit passes - it was a great time. I understand that a Shelby GT350R - C won its group there in '16. Wonder if any will be running there this time around.

It would be great if some fellow Shelby owners met there as a group, maybe went out for dinner together... For those of you who belong to different Shelby forums, would you be interested in reaching out and seeing if there is any interest in doing this?

Now it is true that I have yet to see another Shelby in my immediate area, but - if the post got 44 views, I would think at least a few people might be interested? Making our reservations for Daytona soon - would be nice to hang out with some other Shelby folks...

To The Top one last time! I will be making reservations in early December. Anyone here want to join us. Looking for a really nice hotel fairly close to the track. I am also putting this out on the Mustang 6g GT350 Forums. Personally, cannot understand why no one seems interested in joining some fellow owners at this 24 hour international event....

Shelbyquest18, I will be at the race if plans hold. I am also running at Daytona this Sunday for the first time in my gt350 with the Audi of Ohio group. It looks like there will be 3 or 4 other gt350 there. I am only going on Sunday, even though it is a 3 day event. I saw today that Scott Sharp, Rahul/Letterman, Magnusson, and Dean Martin (Gt4) are going to be there in the pro category.

Thanks, hope you can make the event. Have not had much time for my car lately. Still working on finishing out the first break-in miles, after which off to the Ford dealer to change out the break-in oil. Just ordered the passenger side oil can from JLT and will get it sometime in the next few days. Also put on some locking lug nuts to make sure the wheels do not "wander away" from my car, plus some nice Shelby floor mats to replace the JC Whitney mats Ford supplied LoL.

If you can suggest any really nice hotels that are fairly close to the track, please let me know.
