Right now there are at least three 2016 GT350 Mustangs for sale on eBay. As noted above, the auction amount is not for the car, but rather what the auction winner will pay over the MSRP of the car for the pleasure of getting to purchase one. All three auctions are by Ford dealers. The highest at the moment is $20,100 but the one ending soonest (just 29 minutes from now) just got bid up again a few minutes ago and is at $16,600. The seller is a dealer in Pittston, PA. The lowest one is around $5,600 but that'll probably get bid up.

I've been closely watching the eBay auctions of 350GT's. Probably eight or so USA dealerships had been auctioning the cars at a prices that were an addition to the MSRP for whatever configuration you want to order. For example, if the winning bid was $20,000 and the MSRP was $55,000 for however you wanted the car ordered, you'd pay the dealer a total of $75,000 for the car. These auctions were on there when I checked yesterday, a Saturday. Here we are early Sunday morning and all of those auctions have either been totally removed or reformatted so that the total price is given (rather than the mark-up). This prevents one from ordering their car, optioned the way they want it. In this situation the dealer has to order the car and specify the options so they can establish the base price, then put it out to bid on eBay. The auctions all disappeared so quickly that I have to think Ford forced its dealers into withdrawing them. I'll be at SEMA this coming week and, if I can get any info there, I'll post here.
