Closing a deal tommorow. Does anyone know this GT350? H0646

I am scheduled to finalize a deal on a used 2017 GT350 that was traded into to Subaru of Macon, GA. I'm hoping to see if I can track down the prior owner (or owners...hard to tell) or history on the car but so far the VIN and serial has not yielded any results in my web searching.

It seems the car was originally sold in Bessemer, AL by Town and Country Ford and at some point relocated to GA.

According to the dealer, the owner reluctantly traded it in on an STi due to an incoming baby.

Anyone know this car/story by chance?

Hi Don,

Thanks! I think they did tell me the recall was done but I couldn't remember for sure.

2017 model w/ electronics package. It has 10,933 miles. Delivered originally in Aug 2016. So 2/4 left on the warranties.

They were asking almost $59k originally and we are down to $54,375. I feel like it is acceptable but maybe not necessarily great.

Really my only concern is that the alcantara-like material on the left and right portions of steering wheel seemed a bit worn for the mileage and the tires (PSS) seemed a bit under worn for the mileage (probably replaced).

So my instinct is telling me it has seen the track which is not necessarily bad but to what extent I would like to know. Would be great to figure out a forum handle or something so I could ask the prior owner about it.

Nice work AJ, always good to know the history of a used vehicle <before> you buy it!! Tough choice...do you buy used with 11K miles or spend another $6K and get a new one at MSRP?

Good luck and love the color by the way, no bias of course (mine is same color and as soon as it arrives I'm removing the stripes) :)
It was a tough choice indeed. Went used because my trade was that much better and thus the spread was about $10k vs new dealers.

I ended up finding the second owner and he assured me it was babied and never tracked. Got it on a lift and the story seemed to jibe. Ended up buying the car.
Without PICS it just didn't happen ;)

Please post when you can as that's the EXACT color/combo of mine.
