No, he is a fellow owner who tracks at VIR and Road Atlanta. He has them on his and said it definitely made a difference.

Boss Doc, did he happen to say what compounds he was using. I have been using Hawk HP-60's on my 2009 GT500 with the big brake kit and have absolutely no issues and get good wear. I just ran Watkins Glen without any issues at all.
