*THE RED 2018 HAS SOLD, congrats to the buyer, what a deal*

If anyone wants the lowest price in the country on a new 2018 GT350, this is it:

https://www.grangermotors.com/new-Des+Moines-2018-Ford-Shelby-GT350-1FA6P8JZXJ5503773

I've been talking with them about a 2019, so I'm not interested in a 2018, but they are pricing their 2018 Race Red with Black OTT stripes at almost $6,700 under sticker @ $54,923. If you know the market, this is an absurd deal. Doc fee is $180 and that's it, no other fees, just your state TTL (and shipping to you, if you want that). If I recall correctly, the car has under 4 miles on it.

Posting here for anyone and will post at other forums too. Ask for Zach Westrum if you call.

Also, they have a 2017 Race Red with White OTT stripes for $52,618: https://www.grangermotors.com/new-Des+Moines-2017-Ford-Shelby-GT350-1FA6P8JZXH5525055

no kidding, especially for us CA guys and the dealerships we have to deal with :(
Would you like the window sticker for the car. I can provide that for you?
Good deals, but that one with white OTT stripes. Yeah its brand new....but with 679 miles on the odometer. I'm assuming those are 679 hard miles LOL. Some test drives. techs and salesmen taking it home for a day or two. I don't even want to think about what was done to that car lmao
Lifetime - the dealer packs each vehicle sold $80 - $150, sets the money aside in an offshore account, if there is a claim it’s made with “like” parts - meaning if you have 39k miles, they scour the LKQ’s nationally and find you a used motor, transmission, or diff. They cover swap labor and unless you have 100% of the maintenance done at their store you invalidate the warranty - one oil change on yourself and it’s gone - miss one schedule and it’s gone - it’s a marketing sales tool and a profit center for the store - if a dealer sells 100 cars a month - that’s $180,000 annually-
If they swap 2-3 motors a year, they are still making mad cash! Now imagine if the dealer sells 400 cars per month
I'll simply give this dealer credit where it's due. They gave a great price on a brand new 2018 GT350 with 5 miles on it at about $6,700 under sticker. That's trying to earn a sale. I've scoured the country and this kind of discount is rare. I won't speak to the "lifetime" warranty stuff. Many dealers offer something similar. The point of this thread was to pass along a great car at a great price. And someone snagged it, rightly so.

I agree, it is very rare to see a deal like that... kudos..
OP, how's your quest for a 2019 going? Have you ordered it and are you at MSRP or lower? Just curious what's happening with the 2019's to date...

PS thanks for sharing about the 2018, nice discount for sure!!

HotLap, thanks for asking, fellow so-Cal'er. As you probably know dealerships here in CA have a massive love affair with mark up. (I refuse to pay ADM) Hence my continued search out of state. I can't decide if I want to jump on a good deal for a 2018 or hold out for invoice on a 2019 (which I've secured out of state). Hard to pass up invoice on a 2019 allocation, right? So that's the latest: casually looking for a scorching deal on a 2018, but most likely going with the 2019 once ordering books open!

Wow, INVOICE on a 19...that's fantastic!! Great job!! Make a road trip out of picking it up, I flew to St. Louis, MO to pick up my new Raptor and had an absolute blast on the trip home!!
Hi, I'm just starting to inquire about a 2019 order, Galpin in Los Angeles told me there would likely be a "small" markup. I'd happily purchase out of state for invoice. Would you be willing to tell us the dealership or send me a PM with the details? Thanks!
