"Bonus Gift Box?"

Hello all, I recently bought a NEW 2017 GT350 at a freaking steal two weeks ago! Yeah me! Anywho, I have seen YouTube videos where new owners received a sort of "gift box" that has the toy flat plane crankshaft model, brochures, etc as well as the Utah track day invite. I did not receive this gift box and inquired with the dealer, they seemed to have acted like they knew nothing about it despite having sold plenty GT350s. What should I do about this? Should I put forth effort in trying to receive this box? I can't say that I am willing to trek from Virginia to Utah for track day, so the invite is far less of a concern unless I don't need to bring my own Stang.

Thanks for any insight!

You'll get it. It comes directly from Ford not the dealer. It took about a month after my purchase for the extra goodies to arrive. Welcome to the forum and have fun with your new ride.

Awesome to hear, thanks for the prompt reply! I am looking forward to reading and learning more from this forum! By chance, is there a phone APP available for this website/forum. If not, does anyone have a great Mustang or GT350 App suggestion? It seems that the MustangAPP that is suggested in my owners manual/supplements remain inactive or unsupported.
Interesting. I also had no idea this was a thing. Haven’t had mine a month yet...

The GT350TrackAttack provides the cars, so you only have to buy a plane ticket... most of the dates are filled though.

Also you might want to give Ford performance a call and make sure the have your dash plaque number correct before they mail it out. Mine didn’t match the certificate and toy crankshaft stand in my box...

I agree with ChipRuthless. My dealership didn't send them the paperwork. I didn't get my stuff until after I verified my purchase through Ford Performance.

Do either of you know how, who, or where to contact regarding this rather than me having to play a ruthless game of searching for the correct contact?
Congrats on your new GT350 - it is an amazing car. Call Ford Performance at 800.367.3788 and they'll help you out with the owners package. My owners package took closer to 2 months to arrive so hang in there. I would suggest you do attend the track session if you can. You have a year from your purchase date to attend, but don't wait as the classes fill up several months in advance. I just snuck into the last class this November, and I booked it in mid-May, that's how far ahead this classes fill. Several of my friends here have gone and they all really enjoyed it and learned how to better take advantage of the GT350 awesome capabilities... I'm really excited to attend this Nov!! Hope it's not snowing early in SLC :)

PS Welcome to the forum!

About two weeks for me too.
Mine just showed up today! Very cool and has the correct chassis number:)
And it actually is a gift box, thus no reason to put it in quotations. Hahhahaaa...just bustin ya!
It seems this years TrackAttack event is full. I wish 2018 dates would be posted. If I find a CEU (continuing education) opportunity in Salt Lake City , my practice will pay for my flights and my education attendance and lodging!!
