Boy I wish I had these pics before I had to tackle my Tow Hook, I had to do it with the eyes on the end of my finger tips. Thanks, I think I’ll archive them too.
Did anyone else notice the missing pushpin location on the air intake scoop? Mine was missing as well. There is a part number for the pin and I tries to order it but it is on permanent back order. It costs something like $12 as well. I found one in my parts drawer and secured it. Seems to help the intake scoop maintain its location a little better.
I had mine almost that far apart to do the OPT7 marker lights. For the life of me I could not figure out how to separate the belly pan from the splitter!?! It looked to me like there are rivets that need to be removed?
I managed to get the lights in, bumper off is the only way to do it, but I would have loved to have taken the whole front fascia and taken it in for 3M.
My question is, will the buyer of the car ever know it was damaged at one point? I worked for Pontiac back in the day. I saw a number of cars sold that I later found out they were damaged at one point.
The late 70's and 80's were a bad time for the car industry if you were an Americain car company!!
