Anybody have a suggestion on the best maintenance charger to purchase? At times it is 5-6 weeks between opportunities to go exercise and enjoy my 2017 GT350. When it was new, it would go that long no problem with the battery staying charged enough to start. There are no shortage of brands to choose from when shopping maintenance charger/tenders on-line. The car is stored at a remote location. If anyone has experience using one that is safe and dependable, please share details. I’m not looking for a bargain, but one that will not cause issues with the car or the garage in the years ahead.

This comes worth alligator clamps and ring terminals. I prefer the ring terminals. I have one for each of my cars and bikes. Keep then hooked up year round. You can get one at Amazon and most car care stores.

My GT350 sometimes has to sit for a few days in the carport outside in winter till streets are clear to drive it and thats the battery maintainer I put on mine last winter and it worked perfect. I also attached the ring terminals to the battery and to unplug it you simply raise the hood and disconnect a connector plug. It won't charge a dead battery enough to start the car but otherwise will keep a charged battery in peak power as long as you want to let car sit days, weeks, months.

I've used that exact Battery Tender on may vehicles over the yrs. Great reliable product that is easily hard wired to the battery with the included hardware, the hardware includes a quick connect.

Highly recommended, especially if you your cars a garage queen. My thoughts.

I've been using Sure Charge from VDC Electronics for over 20 years. I don't know if it's unique to them, but their tender shoots a pulse that breaks up lead sulfate so it doesn't deposit on the plates, which is what kills a battery. I just replaced the original battery in my '95 R a couple weeks ago. The battery in my '94 Pace Car lasted 18 years, but then again, it was 6 years old with I bought it. Amazon has them or you can buy directly from VDC Electronics.

I have about 10 of these CTEK chargers about my shop. I got 9.5 years out of a OE battery on my garage queen '06 GT.

I use Battery Tender JR. Its only .75 amps, and keeps the battery charged. Use it on my GT350 and my HD. 5 year warranty (keep the box and receipt).
