After sitting for about a week, my battery goes dead. Took it to the dealer and they said I would just have to drive it more often. Anyone else having this issue. Solutions?

Since it's not my daily driver, I keep my GT350 hooked-up to a trickle charger so it's always ready to go.
Trickle charger may be the best solution. I wonder what the parasitic current draw is feeding.
By the time I get home my car will have been sitting for a month. We'll see if it starts. I do have a trickle charger but I didn't hook it up.
I can usually go a max of 2-weeks and she'll still start. Any more than this and nothing. Thus the reason for the trickle charger. It takes an extra minute to hook-up, but it's conforming to know she'll always start when I want to take her out and stretch her legs.
Even thought I drive it every nice day in the winter, mine has sat idle over 3 weeks. I held my breath, but it cranked strong and started. I'll probably get a trickle charger anyway.
no issues what so ever--you must have parasitic drainage from some source. Even over the winter, I didn't use a trickle charger and the battery held up
That's really embarrassing. Are you trying to change your battery now and took a new one?
Just opening the doors and sitting in the car causes lots of electrical draw: lights, nav, gages, and if you let the WiFi connect to your home it uses that as well. If you lower the windows to vent heat from solar loading and close them at night that's more load. I would definitely use a trickle charger. I use the Deltran Battery Tender Plus on all my cars and the Junior model on my two bikes.
Mine started with no issues after sitting for a month.
I found my purchase had dealership Lot Rot. I made them replace my battery before delivery. Car sitting in showroom with a huge dealer mark up and it stat for months. I am averaging every 1-2 weeks and no issues.
