Anyone taking their Pony for a ride this weekend?

I am a newbie to the Mustang crowd and truly love her on the back roads. And I have the Hellcats as well but not so much the back road fun. Straight line yes the Hellcat is a kick in the pants. I am heading down to Tn which is my moms and my families home state. My wife’s mother lives in Johnson City just outside Bristol. We always go down there for Memorial Day weekend and this year I have totally changed up my rides. I am taking the GT350 and plan to go down to Gatlinburg and catch the Tail of the Dragon. It may be a little too crowded but I have some other nice rides down there I usually ride on my bikes. Anyways hope all here can have some safe fun this weekend.
And I spent the good part of the day getting my trailer all set up and ready to head out tomorrow.

I started my holiday by spanking a Audi S4 and a Porsche Caymen on highway roll on three times a piece each separatly, then they gave up. I’m realky amazed how stable the 350 is at let’s just say, above the posted limit. That aero really does work and the car hunkers down.

Nice, beautiful GT350 and you got the fastest color (same as mine so of course I'm biased). You're going to have a ton of fun with this car on the Tail of the Dragon!! Never driven it myself, but being an ex-sport biker have read so many awesome reports of that road!! Hellcat is super fast but the balance/handling of the GT350 is on another level...congrats and welcome to the forum!! PS I want a trailer AND tractor like that!!:)

I might have to head out to Marble Falls for some pie this weekend.

Then we will go down to the Texas State Cemetery and pay our respects, and probably also to Veteran's Memorial Park in Cedar Park (Gold Star Family Memorial).

Nice road trip and have fun!! It's been May grey here past couple of weeks but Mr. Sunshine is supposed to pop out this weekend and all of next week!!
Gonna spend some time behind the wheel to get some miles on her this Sunday. Windows down and listen to that beautiful noise.

Nice route J240Z, welcome to the forum and (if you haven't already done so) post up pics of your ride!! When I lived in the SD area, we would go up to Julian for the homemade apple pie...they still doing that?
Stayin' home, mostly. Takin' the orange beast out after the holiday and all the crazies get off the road. We have some nice mountain rides in this area and I've been waiting for the snow and salt to get gone so I can go play. Ya'll have fun and stay safe!
Breakfast run this morning in the GT; tomorrow off for Alamo Springs and Luckenbach on the bikes.

Fun little road trip today. Ended up being 241 miles. Lots of sites I haven't seen before and beautiful views along the way. Cool restaurant/bar/lodging in Mount Laguna - The breakfast was like a home cooked meal mom used to make. Here's a few pics (I'm bad about taking pictures)

Hotlap, I went through Julian too early - Everyone was closed still :(

That was supposed to be a lake in the background according to the map.

Cool place - Almost 100 years old. I'm sure I didn't see everything inside.
