2017 Impact blue owner here. I'm 500 miles in and having the time of my life. I last had a mustang as a teen 30 years ago, now finally another.

My 500 mile impression:

I'm glad I bought the GT350 instead of a GT PP2. I wasn't sure if the engine would be worth it, but it SO MUCH is.

The most useful little feature in the car is the digital speedo, and I had to find it myself because the dealer apparently didn't know it existed.

The tramlining is horrendous...I will have to make an improvement in this. Steeda braces - different tires - alignment changes - as soon as I feel confident about a plan, I'm going to implement.

I'm not sure about the recaros. I expected to want to swap out for comfort seats at some point, but so far I just don't mind these guys. I'm also a big dude - 5'11" and 250lbs. I'm wondering what's different about my situation that I don't hate them.

The digital entertainment/control/nav system is WORLDS better than the chevy SS system I changed from. Thank you, Ford.

I bought the Auto Authority spare tire system and it shipped yesterday.

Anyway, I'm having a ball and love my Shelby.

Welcome to ownership, you won’t be disappointed. FYI, a switch out for comfort Seats isn’t a direct replacement. I understand there is an extra connector or two due to items not on recaro option.

Enjoy the site.

Thanks! Are there any tutorials or articles on the seat conversion anywhere? I'm looking.
Believe it’s a straight bolt in. You just have a couple extra connectors which involve the power seat options. Airbags and other plugs work. It may be a matter of getting a wiring diagram and see what it takes to get B+ to seat motors.

Congrats on your new GT350, stunning color!! Try "Comfort" mode for in town driving to reduce tramlining. I typically drive in Sport mode and Comfort Mode for Steering. Give it some time and you may get used to it - it's kind fun knowing it's tramlining due to the huge "meats" up front and small price to pay for such fantastic handling...
