So as new GT350 Owners Ford Performance wants us all to come to their driving school in Utah to learn our cars.

The dates have been posted for 2018, is anyone planning the trip? Adding a second day? Would be fun to meet any of you there.

I think I’m in for the 2 day deal.

I'm looking at the May 28th date with possible second day option depending on how much it is. Just want to see if it's even worth it or if I would rather use that money to take mine on a track instead of a Mustang GT. Probably going to schedule sometime within the next two weeks. Looks like an amazing experience!
Thanks Jim for bring this up, I to need to get signed up for the event. I'm thinking early to mid June (just to be completely certain weather in SLC is good). Agree with Lou going as a group would be pretty cool!

PS. I'll be doing the 2 day event as well.

I've been running with Chin Track Group here in Florida for about two years. I had a 16' PP GT until august when I traded it in for a 2017 GT350. I've learned a lot from the instructors in this group and they did a good job of training me up in my GT until I got the GT350, after which I moved to solo over this past weekend. I also got to speak briefly with IMSA driver Jade Buford, who is going to be racing the GT350 in the Continental series next year. It was so awesome to talk directly with the guys who drive these cars professionally. Here's a pic of us at the end of the track event:

Nice!!
Got an email from Ford Performance on Track Attack Dates. Gave me one year from my vehicle purchase to exercise the option. So be aware.
My son & I are signed up! We are going Sept 27 & 28. I opted to do a single day and take my son instead of the 2 day event. Father-son bonding, you know.
Just got my Track Attack mail yesterday, two months after I bought the car. So I have to go this year or miss out.
don't miss it - its a great day at the track, and you will appreciate your GT350 even more, especially when you get to drive someone else's on the track !

These dates are filling up really fast. I checked last night and there was one date still open before my 12 month anniversary, I actually beat it by two days. So I'll be there June 27-28th.
Looks like I will not make the 12 month window - any chance they will let you go beyond the 12 month window?
just signed up for July 3-4, it's the 1 day event.
adding the 2nd day is $1,495 to drive the GT and $1,895 to drive the Boss302
if I hadn't just dropped $66k cash I might be able to swing that, but divorce court is no fun :(

FYI most of 2018 is sold out:

I'm signed up for Sept 3rd - they worked out the 12 month problem and I'm signed up. Should be great weather in Sept.

Just signed up for October 1-3. Although the flight time from LA is less than 2 hours, I am going to drive mine up there. Anyone going those dates let me know.

See you then.
I attended Track Attack in April 2018. Can’t say it other than “Don’t let this fantastic opportunity slip by you”. I almost did by not getting registered in 2017 after buying a Lightning Blue GT350 in October ‘16. The fall classes were all booked, but they allowed me to attend in ‘18 if I completed by April. If you are on the fence about buying one like I was, the Track Attack is enough reason to go find your checkbook. When they finally turn you loose on the Utah Motorsport roadcourse to go as fast as you are capable, in their track ready GT350........it’s friggin awesome.
When I booked the Ford Performance School, I decided to stay in nearby Stansbury Park, UT rather than Tooele, We stayed at a B&B / Spa where the wife spent the day while I was at the track. Scott and Ellen at themillpondspa.com 435-843-8800 were great and the room was about the same cost as the chain hotels in Tooele, UT. Millpond is about 10 minutes from the track.
The Ford Performance GT350 Track Attack is a first class operation and well worth the trip to Utah. Do the second day on-track in their Boss 302 or GT Mustangs if possible.
