Criminy! I must be the only person not smart enough to actually post pics here...lol. I have tried several times, and I even tried to post the URL to an imgur gallery, but it said that was an invalid file too! It works everywhere else I've tried it but will not here for some reason.

If it's not asking too much, please click on (or copy/paste if necessary) the following link:

Hey Hal,
Thanks! The only tow hook I could find at the time was at https://zl1addons.com - I have no idea if there are other vendors by now.

Every tow hook I had seen had been in bright red, like the Brembo calipers, but this one is a darker (deeper?) red, perhaps to differentiate it from the other tow hooks that, until now, I had only seen on GM vehicles. However, the one pictured on the site IS the bright red I was looking for. I still dig it, just prefer that red over this red. I did not get one for the rear, but I've been mulling it over some.

I had "my guy" at the local dealership put it on. However, it's easily doable by the shade tree mechanic.

Beautimus! Thanks for the tip, Don!

The only thing I don't like about the red calipers is that the Brembo logo is in white. I don't have white anywhere else on my car. A black logo would be perfect.

Hey Don,
Yeah I had my original calipers painted and black decals put on. They weren't exactly the same size, but it didn't matter since everything had been painted over anyway. The red wasn't the right kind of red so I ended up pulling them off and going with the GT350R calipers as I said. But before I did that I searched and searched and searched for logos the right size and none were to be found. I actually ran across others with the same problem. And I went back to my guy who printed my stripes for me to get them to print a logo to go over this one, and we just couldn't quite cover the white without a sliver here or there peeking out. Since I didn't want it to look ridiculous, I just bit the bullet and bought the R calipers. But at least I now have an "extra" set to eventually get powdercoated, then I can put on black logos without worrying about size.

Best I can tell, the white logo is white paint and not something that can be removed. When I looked at them, the logo appears to be stamped on. And I searched high and low (and I ain't just whistlin' Dixie when I say that) for the Brembo red color to no avail. The only thing that comes close apparently is "Guard Red" model paint, something I'm sure is not heat-resistant enough to use to paint over the white logo.

However, on the RTF wheels website IS a black GT350 with the bright red calipers with black Brembo logos... grrrrr. Where the heck did they get them?

So, I need the correct red to paint over the white so then I can put black logos on without regard to size, or I need the right size black logo to perfectly cover the white which I cannot find. Or option #3, I learn to live with what I've got. So far that's what I'm trying, but the white is annoying me to no end for some silly reason.

When I got my calipers in I really didnt examine the brembo lettering ..... with the intense heat it does make sense it would be painted on vs a sticker....... thinking back on applying stickers now I am not sure how durable they would be

I looked into it. Turns out the stickers are made to endure the heat, so that's not an issue. And I was amazed when I dropped by the shop that did my stripes and asked about a vinyl logo since they do wraps and all. I asked about the heat, and they told me they actually have a vinyl wrap made to wrap brake calipers. I had no idea you could do that. Who'd a thunk it?
