Hello everyone,
I'm an happy owner of a 2016 Black GT350, Track package.
The car has been imported by a specialist, used to the very complex admin process to register an unknown car in France.
Already 3500km driving the thing - in less than 2 months :), and coming from a E92 M3 I can say that I'm not at all disappointed.
Will try and post pictures soon (have to learn how to do first :) )

I think it's great you got one over in the fine country of France (I have been there 3 times and loved it)!

I just find odd that I live 2 states away (Minnesota) and it takes forever for me to get mine!:D

The GT350 in the streets of Paris is quite something indeed !
Maybe the fact that the end price in France is doubled (taxes, registration, customs) vs. US will help you cope with the wait

I also owned an E92 M3, traded it for an F10 M5, then sold that to make room for the Shelby. I loved driving the M3, but enjoy the GT350 more. Both were fast, handled well and made great noises, but every facet is amplified in the Shelby. (The only things I miss from the BMW's are the sound systems, especially the Bang and Olufson unit in the M5.) I have to wonder what your cultured French neighbors think of the exhaust note on the GT350. I live in the southern U.S. and it borders on offensive here... Great idea to bring one to the continent. Hopefully you'll have the opportunity to drive it on an unlimited roadway somewhere. If you do, post some videos of the speedo.

Yes the car knows how to be loud, but I find the exhaust valve to be the perfect tool to allow quiet rides when needed.
I have to say that I received only positive feedback so far, with most people ignoring what Brand/model that is, but loving the look/sound, etc. The latest mustang is sold by Ford in France so mine will probably lose some of its exotic character when those hit the streets, but we all know the GT350 knows how to differentiate itself from the 5.0.
Now you need to get some cameras and film an undated version of Rendezvous!
