I had been expecting Ford to likely discontinue the 350 with the 19 or 20 MY as the 500 hits the streets. Would be cool to head into the LFD and see them sitting together on the showroom floor! Imagine the potential for a supercharger on a beefier FPC block...

To the OP, thanks for starting this thread, only negatives I have on the new GT500 are the dial shifter (just no place for it on a special ride like the GT500) and the lack of a manual tranny option. My 2013 Carrera S had the PDK (which for an automatic) is a fantastic tranny, but I'd gladly forgo a couple tenths in the quarter mile to be able to row through the gears in the GT 500. Of minor consequence, I noticed Ford didn't go with the Cobra center caps in the wheels (at least on the pics I've seen so far). I was holding out to pick up a set for the GT350! Oh, and the CF wheels are fantastic looking!!

Then again if you feel the need.....

With that dial shifter.... where the heck do I rest my hand?

anyone watch the GT 500 Ford video - the 500 is running thru the mountains.

There is a shot of the digital dash - the redline is below 8K looks like about 7500 to 7800

I like the front of the car. Spoiler looks good too. Just missing is the Manual option.
    Its also missing side vents.
Actually its good for us GT350 owners, our car may be the last of it with Manual Transmission.

Not sure I would trust Hennesy......do some searching about it. He's screwed over lots of people, and when magazines test his work....they usually over hear and blow up. Go whipple.....

Hmm, one of the reasons I got the GT350 was for that amazing flat plane and the high red line. I rarely hit it even on the track, I usually shift around the 7500 mark at most, depending on the corner I'm coming out of. If this puppy can get up there, and I can manage to keep the low end torque down on the pavement, there might be a GT500 in my future.
