When we moved out of Bexar county (to Kendall) our auto insurance cost was cut in half. Same for most of our neighbors.

I have Amica, a great company but 2500.00 for a 67 year old with a great record is way out of hand.
If you are happy with your policy, could you please pass the info to me...thanks, Tom

I have a 16 gt350 tech pack blah blah blah, i'm an over the road trucker so mine collects about 1500 mi a year. Full coverage, with the gap coverage, im 27, also own an 04 svt lightning on the same policy, 500 deductible, and all the extra fine line stuff, i pay 198 to cover both together, the car cost about 100 to add on. I go through USAA, i'm also out of the panhandle of FL.

Actually when I traded my '18 GT for the GT350, insurance never crossed my mind-until I had to pull out my insurance card when I was signing the papers at the dealership. I waited a few days given I have been with State Farm since 1974 and emailed my agent and gave her the VIN, mileage, etc. I was paying $105/month for my GT and based on what I had read on blogs and you tube videos, I was expecting it to at least double, which would have put it right in the range you were quoted. However, given I am 69, retired, have a flawless record and I won't say accident free because I don't want to jinx myself-my monthly premium went up a whopping $12. Not a typo-$12! I felt like I had won the lottery, needless to say.

Yet another USAA user here. But I'm shopping them for the first time in 20 years due to some information I learned recently from my brother. I don't want to get into details yet, because it's just hearsay at this point. But I strongly recommend that before you make your final choice, check a couple of review sites on line. I recently checked a few on USAA and I did not see one single good review. I haven't made a claim with them yet, so again, it's just hearsay.......but

There is no question that USAA is nothing like the company they were 20 years ago. Too bad. I’m still with them for home and autombut moved my bikes years ago.
