Same, I can afford to drive it to and from work and some small trips on the weekends. Other than that... it will have to sit on standby along with the rest of my hobbies like USPSA and etc.

Oooohhhh, that's a great point. Ford has so many vehicles they spec 5W20 for, and the fact they have vats of 5W20 fed from a system that feeds the whole shop, that shit has happened. The tech doing the oil change just grabs his local nozzle and gets to fillin! After all, it's just another oil change. Forgot who it was, but that has already happened to one of us.
Im the Parts Manager at my local Ford / FCA dealership and that’s why I keep a case of 5w50 in bottles on hand at all times. We have 5w20, 5w30 and 15w40 in bulk, but I’m not even sure if 5w50 can be bought in bulk or drums.

So, I went to dealer 3 and bought a case of oil, filter and new plug. I have a passenger side Ford catch can coming tomorrow, so I'll put that on this weekend and then change the oil when I get my jacking rails installed....

What a shame these things are sold by some pretty clueless dealers. I came from a 911 and the dealers were expensive, but they seemed to know what they are doing...
If they gave you a written quote I would keep it. $79.95 would be a steal lol. My dealer charged $185 with a 10% off coupon. The oil alone is $9-10 a qt depending on where you get it and how many you purchase.

    Oil Change
    12 qts @ $131 https://www.amazon.com/5w50-Motorcra...torcraft+5w-50
    1 oil filter (Motorcraft FL-2069 GT350) @ 23.00 - https://www.amazon.com/Motorcraft-FL...+FL-2069+GT350
=$154.00 (just for the oil and filter)

    RockAuto
    12 qts @ 110.16
    Filter @ 13.93
    Shipping @ 9.99
    OTD: $134.08
NOTE: I've never bought from them before so I can't say it's a real credible company.

Without the two extra quarts I'd be out the door at $114.72 which is great without labor of course. I wonder how much of an arm and a leg that would cost me plus "recycling fees" and any other fees they gladly include.

I never compared it because I never really cared, but thanks to your guys' post, I just learned Amsoil (at my dealer price) is $104 for a case (12). And the cartridge filter is cheaper than the spin-on also. Meh, irrelevant. I don't bargain shop oil/fluids anyways....I'm using Amsoil and I'm doing it myself regardless of $$ and expense.
